Marian Prayer House for Priests
Our Story
St. John Mary Vianney once said "The priest is not a priest for himself; he does not give himself absolution; he does not administer the Sacraments to himself. He is not for himself, he is for you. After God, the priest is everything. Leave a parish twenty years without priests; they will worship beasts. If the missionary Father and I were to go away, you would say, “What can we do in this church? there is no Mass; Our Lord is no longer there: we may as well pray at home. ” When people wish to destroy religion, they begin by attacking the priest, because where there is no longer any priest there is no sacrifice, and where there is no longer any sacrifice there is no religion."

The priesthood is a love from the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus. The consecrated hands of priests give us the most precious Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, as mentioned in John 6:51-59. Through them, this great love is celebrated in each Holy Mass, as per Jesus's command in Luke 22:19, "Then he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.'"
A Catholic priest is of immense value, and this group aims to pray for the priests with our dear Blessed Mother daily. We join in groups and pray for an hour before the next group begins. If the Holy Spirit inspires you to pray for this mission, please get in touch with us using the section below.
